With Ex Aequo, let’s dare to promote gender equality within an inclusive and fair workplace
For the past 15 years at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, Ex Aequo has been driving tangible progress on gender balance and equality: by creating spaces for dialogue, highlighting career paths, challenging norms… and designing moments that truly matter. Because professional equality cannot simply be declared – it must be built, collectively, day after day. Open to anyone who aspires to greater gender balance within the company, the network now brings together more than 700 members across France. For Ex Aequo, a company’s performance and long-term sustainability are intrinsically linked to gender equality. Conferences, networking, opportunities, mentoring, personal development workshops… all form part of the rich offering Ex Aequo provides free of charge to its members.
In 2025, a topic rarely addressed within organisations emerged in our discussions: vulnerability at the workplace – not as a weakness, but as a powerful driver of performance and authenticity. This illustrates what makes Ex Aequo unique: our ability to create spaces where sensitive, essential and sometimes overlooked subjects can surface freely, fostering deep reflection on how we work together.
The Ex Aequo logo shows a stylized lowercase “ex aequo” wordmark. Above it is an abstract icon composed of rounded shapes in teal and green, forming a bracket-like figure. Beneath the word “ex aequo” is the French slogan in uppercase: “ENSEMBLE POUR LA PARITÉ”.

Health and well-being at work
Tilia, which supports carer employees by reducing their mental load, represents a true lever for both social and economic performance for the company
As a growing share of the working population in France is affected by carer’s liability (1 out of 5 employees by 2025, 1 out of 4 by 2030), the vast majority continues to bear this responsibility in silence.
Tilia, BNP Paribas Personal Finance’s social business, helps organizations implement inclusive policies for employees who are carers, by supporting their employees on a day-to-day basis to help them optimizing their time and their life-work balance. An increasing number of companies calls on for Tilia to raise awareness and conduct an assessment of caregiving within their organization, enabling them to identify and quantify the situations, map the needs, and obtain recommendations for actions.
Supporting carer employees is not just a social measure or a cost; it is a strategic investment to protect key skills, take preventive actions, retain key employees, and ensure sustainable performance.

What is the Digital Cleanup Day?
The Digital Cleanup Day is a global day of action to raise awareness about the environmental footprint of digital technology through action. The main objective is to build awareness around the digital pollution generated by our usage of technology by inviting individuals, companies, and associations to take concrete action by cleaning up their data and/or giving a second life to all the digital devices sleeping in drawers.

“Digital Clean up Week 2025“: Consors Finanz joins the movement
During the “Digital Clean Up Week 2025“, Consors Finanz launched a series of mini challenges. The programme included: cleaning up email inboxes; emptying download folders, trash bins and temporary files, as well as duplicate files; deleting unused apps from mobile phones; eliminating non-relevant emails, for example by unsubscribing from newsletters; and deleting duplicate photos and videos from phones and the cloud.
Beyond these mini challenges, this week was an ideal moment to shine a spotlight on Sustainable IT. Since the manufacturing of devices (computers, smartphones…) has the most harmful impact on the environment, a full programme was designed at Consors Finanz: a sale of second-hand computers was organized on-site, along with a collection of old devices so they could be refurbished – or, in the worst case, recycled.

Olca Kanber How can the company turn sustainability into a real competitive advantage and growth driver?
María Ruiz Manahan
María Ruiz Manahan Sustainability is a key factor for Spanish consumers. According to the Cetelem Observatory, 4 out of 10 Spanish consider sustainability criteria when making consumption decisions. This trend directly affects our company’s strategy; we must adapt ourselves and support our customers in their decisions. Sustainability is also an opportunity to reach new audiences and a driver for new business opportunities. More concretely, Cetelem Spain works with partners to support the transition to electric engines and accompany customers in acquiring lower-emission vehicles. In Retail and B2C, sustainability is being promoted through specific products that include financing solutions for energy-efficient home renovations.

Responsible Purchasing
What is “Responsible Purchasing”?
ISO 20400 DEFINITION
Responsible purchasing refers to procure- ment whose environmental, social, and eco- nomic impacts are as positive as possible throughout the entire life cycle. Responsible purchasing encompasses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aspects related to goods or services, as well as to the suppliers invol- ved in supply chains. Responsible purchasing contributes to achieving the organization’s social responsibility goals and objectives and to sustainable development overall.
What about BNP Paribas Personal Finance?
The integration of CSR criteria into the supplier selection process, the use of the inclusive sector when choosing suppliers, the continuous training of buyers, compliance with payment deadlines, and the pursuit of long- lasting, balanced relationships with our suppliers are all well-established practices within the PF Purchasing Department. The achievement of the RFAR Label (Supplier Relations and Responsible Purchasing), awarded by the Advocate-General’s companies and the CNA (National Counsil for buying) in 2024 for a three-year cycle, confirms that our practices are aligned with the principles of responsible purchasing.

Paymenow, the financial and inclusion platform designed for our employees in South Africa
In South Africa, many employers pay monthly but employees live in a daily cash-in-hand environment. Unfortunately, cost of living is rising faster than salaries & wages and many South Africans face additional challenges as they are excluded from receiving quality financial services.
In order to reduce financial stress among its employees, RCS, the South African subsidiary of BNP Paribas Personal Finance, partnered with an organization, Paymenow.
Paymenow is a financial wellness and inclusion platform that allows responsible access to already earned wages and other value-added services.
Payments are capped at 20% of their guaranteed net salary. Employees have access to cash or vouchers and to high interest savings account.
Paymenow brings positive impact: less absenteeism, more loyalty and dignity to those in need…
Undeniably, employee financial well-being is also proving to be a performance driver for RCS.

STANDFIRST - Training as a tool to support the sustainable transformation of our company
To deliver on a sustainable ambition, it is essential that a shared vision is embraced by everyone—from the Executive Committee to operational teams. That is why we aim to train all our employees through the Sustainability Academy, which brings together a range of dedicated training courses designed to help them understand the challenges of sustainable development and how we can address them in our role as a financier.
We regularly expand the Sustainability Academy’s content; in 2025, for example, we launched a new “ESG Funding” module, which in just 20 minutes enables participants to understand how our sustainable finance outstandings can be monetised through financial instru- ments such as green or social bonds and securitisations.
Ready to Learn
An international event aimed at developing the skills of all employees and building a shared culture of continuous learning, Ready to Learn comprises eight days of conferences bringing together 12 countries and nearly 3,000 participants around key themes, including “Sustainability” (a learning organisation focused on sustainable development).
In 2025, Miruna Senciuc, Director of Sustainable Development, and Ahlam Lamzaouek, Director of the Responsible Strategic Programme at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, addressed the topic “Responsible or sustainable credit: myth or reality?”. This was an opportunity to reflect on the promises of responsible credit. In a context of societal and environmental transition, how can performance and responsibility be reconciled? They demonstrated that responsible credit can be a genuine lever for sustainability.

In 2025, we chose to place a strong emphasis on targeted training programmes to support the development of our responsible businesses.
We therefore organised a four month challenge to encourage employees to complete two key training courses for our business entitled: “On the road to sustainable mobility” and “On the path to sustainable housing”. Designed for a wide range of profiles, these courses covered technical and regulatory aspects as well as product offerings.
A total of 1,112 employees took part in the challenge, and the winners travelled to Paris to work on initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable mobility and energy efficient home renovation. They were also offered a visit to Roland Garros, including a Tennis Fresco, giving them the opportunity to see how sustainable development issues are integrated into sport.

Sustainability » at the top: when the Exco takes the lead
As a key initiative to embed ESG issues at the heart of governance, Sabine Lienard, Chief Sustainability Officer at AlphaCredit, organised a seminar entitled Sustainable Exco Offsite, dedicated to Sustainability, for members of AlphaCredit’s Executive Committee.
Using the ADKAR methodology (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement), participants acknowledged the strength of the ESG foundations already in place and defined a set of actions to be implemented, including:

Promoting accessibility as a driver of innovation with A la Par Foundation
Promoting accessibility as a driver of innovation with A la Par FoundationAs part of the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, BNP Paribas Personal Finance in Spain held a session on the new challenge for the financial sector: Accessibility and Innovation, delivered by Sandra Jaramillo (trainer in cognitive ac- cessibility and inclusion at A La Par Foundation), and Alicia Sotillo (specialist in digital inclusion projects and inclusive UX).
In the session the awareness of diversity and inclu- sion converged with a discussion on accessibility as a driver of innovation, service quality and inclusion.
In June 2025, Law 11/2023 entered into force, a re- gulation that establishes the obligation to guarantee accessibility in financial services, both digital and in-person. Among other requirements, it entails adapting digital environments; incorporating plain language, easy-to-read formats and standards that ensure that any person, regardless of their abilities, can use banking services independently, safely and in an understandable manner.
In addition, we reinforced this commitment with a new scholarship programme, enabling students from Fundación A La Par to qualify as digital cognitive ac- cessibility consultants, and to contribute an essential perspective to improving the accessibility of our com- pany’s digital services.
A cheerful green 3D cartoon mascot character with big eyes and a small smile stands in front of a dark shadow on a white background, holding a large tablet to its right.
The new accessibility law invites us to rethink the customer experience and to understand accessibility as a field of opportunity: an opportunity to innovate, to simplify, to design better and, above all, to build a more inclusive sector, where persons with disabilities also have an active, recognized and visible role within the company.

How do you define financial inclusion in 2025?
How do you define financial inclusion in 2025?
Some people today are unable to accept a job or access healthcare because they have no means of transport. Others face precarious energy situation – unable to finance home insulation work. And this is exactly what financial inclusion seeks to solve. Financial inclusion makes responsible financial products and services accessible to individuals, who are underserved, either for socio-economic or discriminatory reasons. Hence, financial inclusion includes all initiatives which aim to propose financial services and products at a fair price to this population, with the objective to empower and to accompany them in improving their social or economic standard of living (access to housing, mobility, employment…).

Explor’Actors by PF: a community of employees accelerating the sustainable transition and focused on results
Promoting access to more responsible and more sustainable consumption is the purpose of BNP Paribas Personal Finance.
To accelerate the transition of our businesses by taking concrete action in our areas of legitimacy, we created Explor’Actors—an international community that brings together all motivated employees and is results oriented. Whether acting as amplifiers, contributors and/or experts on sustainability topics, the specific role played by community members matters less than their willingness and boldness to drive change toward a sustainable transition. Their on the ground knowledge is a real asset in co building the transition of our businesses, offerings, and services.
ESG offerings, electric vehicle financing, home renovation loans, partner engagement, financial education, financial optimization initiatives such as Social Bonds… these are just a few examples of the topics this community aims to work on.
Explor’Actors offers employees opportunities to develop their sustainability knowledge through webinars, masterclasses, and conferences, as well as co creation workshops on concrete themes such as home energy renovation. Self service resources complement the program, such as the development of “turnkey” toolkits that enable the deployment of ESG tools across all countries. During our latest action stream, we developed interview guides to help address ESG topics with our partners.
The first action stream launched was: “Talking ESG with our partners: a business opportunity or a waste of time?” More will follow in 2026!

Social leasing: Crédit Moderne Ocean Indien supporting accessible mobility
What is social leasing?
Social leasing is a form of long-term rental designed to make electric cars accessible to lower-income households. The principle is based on a rental contract that is heavily subsidized by the state, making it possible to benefit from particularly low monthly payments.
The contract lasts at least three years, with a monthly rent capped at 200 euros and an included mileage allowance of at least 12,000 km per year. Eligibility is notably linked to a reference taxable income per household unit of less than or equal to €16,300, as well as a demonstrated need for work-related travel.
On Réunion Island, the transition to electric vehicles depends on households’ ability to access sustainable financing solutions.
This is precisely the objective of social leasing, an initiative in which Crédit Moderne Océan Indien has become actively involved.
It is the only financial institution to have taken this step after receiving accreditation from ADEME (the French Agency for Ecological Transition).
The results for 2025 are tangible: 122 of our customers in Réunion were able to benefit from this scheme.
Beyond these encouraging figures, the initiative demonstrates that when innovation meets an access model tailored to local realities, the transition becomes more concrete and fairer.

We hope that this first step toward electrifying the vehicle fleet in Réunion, aimed at lower- income households, will be renewed in one form or another in the coming years.

Inclusive energy transition
A “vulnerable clients” scheme designed by Domofinance, a subsidiary of EDF and BNP Paribas Personal Finance specializing in the energy transition of housing
In 2025, 4,588 SMS were sent by Domofinance to their «vulnerable» clients in France.
Vulnerable» clients are clients up to date with their payments, but who are facing a change in circumstances (reduction in income, job loss, illness, divorce, exceptional expenses...) that results or could result in a budgetary imbalance potentially placing them in a situation of non-payment.
When Domofinance detects a client whose home is in a natural disaster area, internal solutions such as exceptional free deferrals, internal credit consolidation, activation of insurance... are offered to them. Same if a client brings up a vulnerability following a change in situation.
In case of confirmed vulnerability, the “vulnerable clients” scheme also helps guide the client, notably towards associations specializing in budgetary support.

Leapmotor’s strong momentum in 2025 marked a key phase in its strategic partnership with Stellantis, launched in 2024 to support the brand’s international expansion.

“Social inclusion for people in a vulnerable situation” is now the new focus of the Cetelem Foundation
The Cetelem Foundation has reviewed its strategy by adopting a new mission entitled “Social inclusion for people in vulnerable situation”, around three major axes: strengthening social connections, supporting mental and/or physical health, and combating violence.
The implementation has been launched since November 2025 for the 2026 call for projects.
Through this change, the Cetelem Foundation, hosted by the Fondation de France, aims to help break the cycle of isolation of vulnerable people by helping them regain a sense of legitimacy to reach out to others and seek help.
“Because every connection matters”, the Cetelem Foundation supports the associations which are implemented in the field and reach out for those who need it most.

Spotlight on Lecture Jeunesse
Lecture Jeunesse is an association that has been working for over 50 years to rekindle the pleasure of reading and writing to the adolescents, particularly those who are most vulnerable. Its educational projects support teachers in the National Education in fostering self-expression, creativity, and bringing the desire to learn. Among these initiatives, the Numook project uses digital tools as a lever to demystify reading and writing, developing adolescents’ oral and written expression, and diversify their digital and artistic practices. Over the course of a school year, young people become authors through the collective creation of a digital book.

Findomestic set ambitious goals for fundraising in support of the Téléthon Foundation
For over 10 years, Findomestic Banca has supported Téléthon Foundation, committed to funding and conducting scientific research to cure rare genetic diseases. Findomestic actively contributes to fundraising for research on rare genetic diseases through a commitment that is renewed every year and reflects the company’s desire to help build a fairer and more inclusive future for all. Findomestic’s
contribution is not limited to direct donations (such as during the Christmas campaign and the televised marathon organized by RAI), but also extends to promoting fundrai- sing among its employees, partners, agents, and customers.
In 2025, a significant initiative has been launched: the possibility to donate Findomestic Club points to Téléthon Foundation, accumulated by using a Findomestic debit or credit card. All holders of a Findomestic current account or credit card can, via the Findomestic APP on their smartphone or from a desktop, access Findomestic Club and convert their points into a donation for Telethon by choosing an amount from the available options. Another important example of fundraising is participation in the 8x20 BNL Relay for the Telethon Foundation: numerous employees and citizens come together to help research go further, showing, through sport as well, that research is a goal for everyone.

The 4 panelists, Pilar Bastante, David Rodriguez Yustres, Olca Kanber and Liliana Marsan also addressed the social impact of financial inequality and financial abuse.
More than 2.3 million women living in Spain have experienced economic violence in their lives. The link between financial autonomy, equality, and responsible decision-making was clearly established. The importance of continuing to advance toward equality with ambitious objectives and clear roadmap was underlined as well as the important commitment of organizations in favour of fair and inclusive decision-making.

Mobilizing our teams for the common good

Concretely, this can consist of individual, or group solidarity work such as helping young people, leading ‘responsible budget’ workshops as part of our budget education scheme, or providing support for associations working to protect the environment.

Supporting vulnerable individuals through a food distribution initiative with Ladles of Love
RCS partnered with Ladles of Love as part of it’s annual Mandela Day event at the DHL stadium in Cape Town on 18 July. Mandela Day is a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has the ability to make an impact. 125 RCS employees attended the event at the stadium where they prepared meals and craft activities for distribution for those in need. All volunteer hours were recorded as ‘volunteer hours’. Ladles of love is a local Cape Town charity, whose mission is aimed at providing nutritious and wholesome food to vulnerable people, most of whom are small children. They also support urban farmers grow natural wholesome food in an economical and sustainable way.

The woman in front has blonde hair and a black hoodie; the person beside her has glasses and a black jacket with an orange emblem, and a red-and-white patterned scarf around her neck. They are seated or standing close together in an indoor community hall. In the background, several other people are seated at tables near large windows and metal railings. Overlaid text at the top reads “LADLES OF LOVE,” and below it “NOURISHING FOOD FOR PEOPLE IN NEED.”

Almost a ton of waste collected in the cleaning of the San Juan Reservoir together with the Ecomar Foundation
Cetelem, Arval and Cardif continued their collaboration with our partner Volvo to collect waste and protect the ecosystems during this volunteering days organized by the Ecomar Foundation.
More than 150 volunteers joined forces for two days, at the San Juan Reservoir in the Community of Madrid and cleaned the reservoir’s surroundings collecting almost a ton of waste.

The photo shows four volunteers standing close together and smiling toward the camera on a sandy lakeside. They wear gloves and casual jackets or shirts, with one person in a green jacket, another in a light blue shirt, a third in a pale or light shirt, and a fourth in dark clothing. Behind them is still water and the reservoir shoreline, indicating an outdoor environmental cleanup setting.
A small green plush-like mascot stands facing forward, smiling with closed mouth and raised eyebrows. It has large round eyes, short arms and legs, and is waving its right hand while the left arm hangs relaxed. The background is plain white.
This created lake originally was built as a water supply source for the residents; the people of Madrid have converted the San Juan Reservoir into an aquatic sanctuary for numerous species of aquatic birds, mammals and native plants.
It represents 650 hectares and 14 kilometres of shore, being the only lake in Madrid where swimming and water sports are allowed.

Domofinance teams take part in the Paris–Versailles race:
Around twenty Domofinance employees took part in the 46th edition of the iconic Paris–Versailles race.
The objective: to support households facing severe hardship in renovating their homes.
For every finish line crossed, Domofinance donated to the Réseau Éco Habitat association, which supports very low-income homeowners in renovating substandard housing. The funds raised helped cover the remaining out-of-pocket costs once financial aid had been secured.

BNP Paribas Personal Finance takes action against economic violence
Economic violence has a direct impact on victims’ professional lives (lateness, absenteeism, mistakes, lack of concentration, reduced productivity, loss of self-confidence), thereby negatively affecting their career paths. As women are overwhelmingly the primary victims, economic violence represents a major barrier to women’s careers and, consequently, an obstacle to gender equality in the workplace.
As a responsible and committed employer, strongly attached to gender parity, BNP Paribas Personal Finance has chosen to tackle economic violence head-on by deploying concrete actions across several countries: workshops, conferences, partnerships, awareness campaigns, surveys, information sheets, and articles…

What is economic abuse?
Fighting economic violence—also known as economic abuse—means addressing inequalities within the economic system and breaking the silence surrounding domestic violence and femicide. This fight supports not only children’s rights but also fundamental human rights.
A lack of awareness, training, and social acceptance of economic abuse makes it difficult to detect—both for victims themselves and for financial stakeholders such as banks or notaries.
The absence of legal recognition, combined with complex administrative procedures, represents a major barrier to victims’ access to legal protection.
Many victims remain in abusive relationships due to financial dependence.
In addition, taboos surrounding money and persistent financial inequalities—such as pay gaps—further increase women’s vulnerability to economic violence.
